On Monday night the Halswell village network teamed up with Halswell Baptist to throw a community 'Light party'. Hundreds turned out and had a wonderful evening of family fun, great food, entertainment and train rides. This was a great joint venture that linked in local schools, Spreydon and Halswell Baptist churches and many local people and businesses. They estimate around 2000 people enjoyed the evening. - well done.
